Hi,
Here are a few Answers :
+ Daulat Ram College offers B Com and has a hostel. For other colleges check the college list on the site.
+ There are no PG courses through correspondence
+ PG Admissions will be declared open generally few days after UG admissions. Check out all the major newspaper for details. However, this site in more focussed on UG admissions.
+ MA. Social Work forms should be out between May to June. Check from the college or check http://www.du.ac.in/show_department.html?department_id=Social+Work

hi i want to know that if i apply for DU through common admission form do i need to fill up individual college forms? i m so confused about du admission as all colleges have their own forms to fill up and then there,s a common admission form too. and what do i do about hostel???

Some more answers:
+ Will cut offs decrease – will depend on lot of factors like over all results of all boards so one can only wait and not predict. But a plus or minus or 1 or 2 percent should be a good guess.
+ You can fill one common forms for all colleges except a few colleges like Stephen’s which require that you fill their own form. For Hostels one needs a to apply in a separate form available in the college hostels.
+ English Hons. Entrances are there in only few colleges like Hindu.

hi!! i have got 87.5% ( best of four including english). but if i exclude english then my percentile will be 92.5% ( best of four excluding english). so which are the colleges which i can apply for in du and can i get it in the first or the second list ? Is it possible to get admission in jesus and mary college(JMC). Thanks.

I m not sure which course you are referring to. However to Answer your question – The colleges would consider your percentage without english too depending on what subjects you include and which subject you are applying for. You can apply to all colleges and get admission on the first or second list depending on the course and the cutoff for this year. To be safe apply to all the courses you want to and apply to all colleges and then wait for the cutoffs. You can check the previous years cutoff for an idea on the site.

At Biswajit.
Apply to the colleges in south campus, in north campus you may have difficulty getting admissions but if you ok with B.Com Pass, then try KMC. I’d still say fill all the college you ideally want in the forms and then wait for the cutoffs.

hi! will environmental education be considered as one of four subjects in srcc for bcom hons?my subject where bus.maths,accounts,comm,bus.studies,and english.if i include eed,my perc wil be 92%

For sports Quota, you need to apply while you submit the forms. Also, fill in the separate forms individual colleges have for ECA while applying and then the colleges will condut auditions separately. Contact the college you are applying for more details about dates and stuff.

Most collges do have a placement cell but nothing specific to Comp scinece. you will have a general placement cell where they will get companies for your course too,

@ Pushpa – Cutoffs are according to best four generally. Some courses may require PCM to be in that best 4.
